Privacy
No advertising cookies and no social media buttons looking over your shoulder. We do count how the site is used, as privacy-friendly as we can, and you can switch that off with one button. What we keep is listed below.

Omcircle Agency is the web branch of Omcircle, based in Groningen, the Netherlands. We are responsible for the data you share with us through this website.
Your name, email address, your message and, if you fill them in, your phone number and the address of your current website go to Omcircle’s form service. It keeps your message for twelve months and forwards it to our mailbox so we can reply. We use your details for that purpose only, not for newsletters or other messages. If you’d like your message deleted sooner, email us and we will.
To keep the form free of automated messages, a check by Cloudflare (Turnstile) runs briefly in your browser before a message is sent. That check doesn’t leave a cookie that identifies you later.
A few things stay on your own device only. If you choose a language, a cookie named ‘taal’ remembers that choice for a year. If you switch visitor statistics off or back on, a cookie named ‘meting’ remembers that for a year. Neither contains anything else and neither goes anywhere. If you fill in the contact form, your browser keeps your progress so you can continue if you accidentally reload the page. That progress disappears as soon as you send the message or close the tab.
With Google Analytics we count how many people visit the site, which pages they read and where they come from. We use that to improve the site. Google sets two cookies for this: ‘_ga’ recognises a returning browser, so two visits by the same person don’t count as two people, and ‘_ga_J7BLH3GH63’ keeps track of how long a visit lasts. Both stay for 13 months. Only the address of the page goes to Google, never anything you type in. If you switch statistics off, we don’t set these cookies and remove them if they were already there.
We also count for ourselves, without cookies and without storing anything on your device, which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, whether they use a phone or a computer, which country they are in and which buttons on our link page they click. We use your IP address and browser only to count visits on the same day together: we don’t store them, and the next day you are a new visitor to us. The figures stay with Cloudflare for three months and are for us only. If you switch visitor statistics off below, we don’t count you here either.
Dutch cookie rules (article 11.7a of the Telecommunications Act) allow analytics cookies without prior consent when they have no or only minor effects on your privacy. Our statistics are set up that way. We only measure visitor numbers, to improve the site, with no advertising or marketing purpose. All advertising features of Google Analytics are off: no Google Signals, no ad personalisation and no link with other Google services. We have a data processing agreement with Google and have switched off data sharing with Google for its own purposes. Google Analytics doesn’t store IP addresses and keeps the data for 2 months. Google is based in the United States; that transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If you’d rather not be counted, switch statistics off below; we remember that choice for a year.
The website is delivered through Vercel’s network. As with any website, the infrastructure keeps short-lived technical logs, including your IP address and the address of the page you requested. We use those only to trace faults and abuse. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain; apart from the visitor statistics and our own count above, viewing the site sends no data to any other party.
We keep email and messages for as long as needed to help you and to meet our record-keeping obligations. If you become a client, the terms of our agreement apply in addition.
You can always ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. Send us a message through the contact form; we reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
If what the website does changes, we update this text. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
Visitor statistics are on. Your visit counts towards our visitor numbers.
